booking

In order to confirm your reservation, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit payment at the time of making your booking. Failure to pay this deposit will result in your reservation automatically being cancelled.

The balance of payment is due 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of your itinerary. Bookings made within 6 weeks prior to departure are subject to full prepayment at the time of confirming the reservation.

Clients are welcome to settle payment by means of a credit card (subject to 5% bank charges) or bank transfer.

In the case of a bank transfer the amount will be converted by your bankers on presentation of our invoice. It is the client’s responsibility to inform and instruct their bankers that the net invoice amount must equal the funds clearing into our bank account and that ALL bank charges are for the client’s account.

cancellation policy

• Cancellation prior to 8 weeks of travel - Full 20% deposit is forfeited
• Cancellation 8 - 4 weeks prior to travel - 50% of total cost is forfeited
• Cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to travel - 100% of total cost is forfeited

insurance

All clients are advised to take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance covering them for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses. Many lodges and hotels that we use insist that guests have travel insurance.

general

We reserve the right to adjust the tour prices at any time should there be any fluctuation in the exchange rate or cost increases of any portion of the tour that is beyond our control.

Africade will do everything possible to absorb any increase in airport taxes, fuel surcharges or other related airline charge increases, but we reserve the right to add these as a supplement to the tour price.

Africade acts in the capacity of tour operator for clients in making their tour arrangements. All coupons, receipts and tickets issued by Africade are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the suppliers.

Africade shall be exempt from any liability for loss, damage to property, accidents, delays, irregularities or other occurrence beyond its control.

Should there be any change of arrival/departure time and the entry/exit transportation used by the tour, Africade shall not held responsibility for the loss caused thereby.
